Life is but a lot of grey punctuated by a little sunshine here and there. What matters is if those sun filled days motivate you to keep going during the cloudy, gloomy seasons of your life.

Sometimes, all of us are so busy running around going through the everyday monotony of life and fall into a pattern that we end up missing out on two important things and they are 1) we do not appreciate the people, things and blessings that make our lives worth living, 2) we get lost into our worlds giving too much importance to stuff that is not really as important as we deem them to be.

God/Nature/The force (whatever you refer to it as) has a way of getting us back on track one way or the other from time to time. However, if only we did it on our own then our lives would be so much easier, better and happier. I fail often. Almost every day. Living on a different time zone, in a different country (continent) sounds cool and is a great experience however it has so many challenges which comes with it. You deal with it and try and adapt to it but at the end of the day you feel that you are not able to do justice (by investing enough time) to people who love you beyond rhyme and reason. In my case this is my family (my parents and my younger sister) and friends.

This is going to be a continuous series of blog posts where I will document my life and all the highs and lows that come along with moving to a new country half-way across the face of this planet.
